Oil leaks and oil consumption
An oil service is also a useful opportunity to inspect areas such as the oil-filter housing, rocker/valve cover, sump and turbo oil connections where applicable. If oil level is dropping between services, the cause should be assessed separately rather than simply topping up indefinitely.
Where the concern is a fault rather than scheduled maintenance, we confirm the cause before final repair pricing. That protects against replacing a component simply because it appears in a fault-code description.
