BMW coding and programming may be required after module replacement, retrofits, battery-related work or software faults. The correct process depends on the chassis, module and the reason programming is required.
What we inspect
Coding is not a universal fix
A module that will not communicate or a feature that has stopped working may have a power, network or hardware fault. Programming should only be carried out when the diagnosis or repair procedure supports it.
Where the concern is a fault rather than scheduled maintenance, we confirm the cause before final repair pricing. That protects against replacing a component simply because it appears in a fault-code description.
